Hello my name is Rosa and I have a 9 month old son and a wonderful husband. I started gaining weight after graduating high school in 2008. In high school I would walk to and from school and to work everyday. I rarely ate fast foods and rarely drank soda. I was on dance teams and very active. After high school i started going to college full time and working part time. I had to always eat on the go and because of this fast food became convenient. It was either that or starve all day and i tend to be in a bad mood when I'm hungry, so not a good idea.
During my pregnancy i was always sick with nausea. I lost a significant amount of weight. The baby was gaining it and my body was losing it. For most cases i guess i was lucky that i didn't gain a crazy amount of weight but i still got to eat all the fun stuff like donuts and chocolate. I was never a fan of sweats until i got pregnant. After having my son i lost allot of weight but with a baby and working, I had to turn to fast foods once again and within 2-5 months i gained... I would say about 20-30 lb. I hated the way i looked. None of my clothes would fit and going to the store to try clothes on was torture. All the cute stuff were too small and looking at my self in the mirror was horrible. I hated the way i looked and fitting into a xlarge in high school i was a size small) and size 13+ jeans was horrible (in high school i was a size 5). Going shopping use to be fun and it turned into torture.
I had never heard of P90X until my husband mentioned it one day and i googled it. I started watching the infomercials and we made the decision to get it. I was so excited to start it. When we got it we started it 2 days later. It kicked our butts and after a week my husband and i stopped doing it. I lacked motivation :( Until one day 2 weeks later i kicked my butt in gear and i started it again. This is my journey day by day with P90X enjoy :)
